We went here at this location at 8:10pm. And its not even the closing time. The worker didnt allow us to come in cause its "raining". How come it will affect your work just because its raining outside? So disappointing!!!!!!! Hackensack Main Street Gong Cha, so disappointing!!!!!

Their lychee “smoothie” is sooooooo bad. It’s just some watery ice that was half blended with a little bit of lychee flavoring. Do not order. Edit: matcha “smoothie” that I ordered together was also sooooo bad with only a little bit of flavor and color and mostly blended ice. Do not order.

I first, I want to highlight the well made XL brown sugar milk tea- I added crème brûlée foam and pearls. I love some of the crème brûlée pieces, so I know it is not artificial flavoring. Worth the $10.90 amount paid via Uber Eats. Now as for the unpleasant order- my strawberry green tea with 70% sugar, tasted like 100% liquid sugar, and the strawberry flavor was artificial. I added extras- white pearls and star jelly. Disappointed there was not even a hint of green tea flavor, only water and sugar. Not worth the $9.15 amount paid via Uber Eats.

I love this place so much. It’s a little hidden gem :) I remember coming here the first time and completely falling in love with it!! i always recommend it to everyone I come across. It’s a quiet, peaceful little place and the people are always so polite. I can’t recommend it enough.

We visited the newly opened Gong Cha store on Main Street in Hackensack during a weekend noon. The store’s wooden interior was charming, and there were a few tables available for dine-in. However, we were slightly disappointed to notice some boards and debris scattered around the store. One barista diligently worked at the counter. We placed our order for two drinks and redeemed our reward for a $5 discount on the second drink. The drinks were prepared promptly. The milk tea and mango green tea had exceptionally delicious flavors, and the boba were soft and chewy. Hope this store does really well.
